Our church choir ministers about twice a month by singing songs that seek to enhance the theme of the sermon. We welcome those who seek to praise God through song by using their musical gifts for Him. Choir practices are held on Wednesday nights after the service. If interested in serving through music, please contact Rhonda McGlaughlin.
We need adults or older students willing to work in the Awana ministry with our younger children. Awana is a weekly ministry that takes place during the school year. This ministry provides an excellent opportunity to have a profound impact on young people's lives. The time of ministry ranges from 6:00 - 7:30 or until 8:00 if working with Junior High aged students. If interested in serving in this ministry, please contact Chad Davis.
The Hands Toward Heaven Puppet Team is a group of students that serves our community through puppet productions and mission trips. A group of adults helps lead this ministry and helps put together productions as well as organizing mission trips for the students. This ministry practices Sunday afternoons from 4 -6 throughout the school year. If interested in serving on the Puppet Team, please contact Loretta Cushey.
Vacation Bible School takes place during a week of the summer, but preparation begins months earlier. Generally this week of ministry takes place near the beginning of June, from 9-12 in the morning for five days. This ministry allows for fellowship with others who are serving during the week, as well as an opportunity to introduce many young people to Christ and His Church. The age of participation for VBS ranges from pre-school through 6th grade. If interested in this area of ministry, please contact Loretta Cushey.
Nursery workers are needed for each of our Sunday services so parents are able to attend the services without interruption. Service times range from Sunday mornings from 10:40 - 12:15 and Sunday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30. If you're interested in this area of service, please contact the church office.
About every three months our pastors set up dinners among the church body. Each get together requires willing participants to open up their home and kitchen to offer hospitality to their brothers and sisters in Christ. If you're interested in this area of service, please see Pastor Ben Lovelady.
During the blessed and stressful time of a new baby's arrival, a family can be greatly ministered to by having dinners prepared and delivered to them. If you would like to serve in this special area, please contact the church office.
We have an incredible godly group of elderly saints in our church who are unable to attend church, but greatly enjoy visits from both adults and young people . . . especially little ones. If you would like to serve in this capacity, but are unaware of how to start, please contact Sandy Shnurman or Marilu Zink.
We occasionally have folks that for some reason or another need a ride to church. This seems to be a regular occurrence and would be an awesome way to lend yourself and your vehicle for Christ. If you're willing, please contact Pastor Ben Lovelady.
